Call for contributions
We would invite submissions of posters that showcase current research on both pattern-to-pattern and programmable shape morphing robots. The workshop, planned as a hybrid event, will allow poster presentation to be made both by people at the conference and remotely. The best contribution will be awarded a certificate and monetary award.
Poster Submission
Deadline: April 1st
-
The submitted contributions will go through a single-blind review process for relevance and quality. Accepted contributions will receive confirmation.
-
The authors of the accepted contributions will have the opportunity to show their poster in the poster session at the workshop and online.
-
Call for contributions is open to both in-person and online attendees. Please submit the poster by sending an email to: wang5056@purdue.edu and indicate the contribution type (in-person or online).
-
The authors of the accepted contributions are required to submit their poster with an abstract (up to 200 words) outlining their poster's content by April 1st, which will be featured in our virtual gallery and accessible throughout the workshop website.
-
The size of the poster will be 34” wide x 44” high. There is no specific template for the posters. You can choose the format that best represents your research work.
-
We encourage every contributor including poster author and speaker to bring a working model or prototype of a shape morphing robot for our hand-on demo sessions.
-
For all contributor and speaker who is going to bring their demo, please submit a brief description (up to 200 words) of your demo, including any space or technical requirements, by March 15th.
